Many hosiery brands are available from department stores and high street fashion outlets.  Sadly many of these stores have drastically reduced the range of hosiery they stock over the past few years.  We strongly recommend that our readers support the specialist online suppliers who are the future of hosiery sales in the UK.

You will notice while you look through our site that we list links to the web sites of many of the makers in addition to those of our recommended suppliers.  Most of the manufacturer web sites are big on brand presentation and weak on vital information such as what the tights are actually like and what you can expect to pay for them.  Almost none of them have any facility to buy direct on-line. Often their complex sites are down for weeks between fashion seasons and are tricky to navigate.  That is why our site exists so you can see “The Tights You Can Buy ... The Places You Can Buy Them”
