Levante are comparative newcomers to the world of hosiery, founded in 1969 in Castrel Goffredo, in the Mantua region of northern Italy.

With its headquarters still located there, Levante has both witnessed and being one of the major contributors to, the development of Castrel Goffredo as the undisputed center of world hosiery.

Levante hosiery of generally very good quality and competitively priced.  They must have one of the biggest ranges of styles available anywhere.  The acquisition of the Jonathan Aston brand in 2002 should see a further expansion on the more funky side of their range.

Most stockists hold only a small part of the range.  However if you are willing to order 6 pairs of a style it is possible to special order almost any of their tights from the on line suppliers.
